Henk had to leave his job in the Armed Forces after an accident which occurred at the end of his 15 year career as a Military Officer. Henk decided to start training not only as a licensed Real Estate Agent, but also as a Technical Surveyor in Holland where he practiced for 8 years. 

His introduction to Spain was introduced by a friend who at that time was experiencing problems with a purchase of a property.  Henk volunteered to help resolve the issue, with the help of his international contacts they managed to recuperate a vast amount of money.

That was when Henk decided to make his mark in Spain, at first he commuted from Holland to Spain for an 8 year period. He then made a decision to move to Spain permanently.

He has been operating now on the Costa Blanca for over 11 years, practicing his wealth of expertise with his family run business. He has peace of mind as well as he is enjoying a continuous success as Managing Director of Rioja Properties Spain Ltd.
